Geoff Cooper is the General Manager of Strategy at Te Waihanga, the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission. He is a former chief economist of PwC and Auckland Council and has also worked with the United States Federal Reserve and the United States Treasury. He has worked on a range of urban transportation projects and regulatory policy, including the City Rail Link, Lets Get Wellington Moving and the National Policy Statement on Urban Development. Geoff also teaches urban economics at the University of Auckland and holds a Masters in Economics with first class honours from the University of Auckland and a Masters in Public Administration from Princeton University.
