Michelle Shields, PhD (Psychology), MSc (Organisational Development and Behaviour), is an independent Organisational Development Practitioner. With over thirty years’ experience in industry and adult education, she brings a unique blend of evidence-based applied group learning to the organisations she works with. Michelle has worked with numerous organisations in both New Zealand and around the world including most recently – the Orion Group, Canterbury Health Laboratories, Canterbury, Manukau and Waikato District Health Boards, Air New Zealand, Emirates Airlines, Airways, the Universities of Canterbury and Waikato, Ballance Agri-Nutrients and AgResearch. Before taking up permanent residency in New Zealand in 2002 and becoming a New Zealand citizen last year, Michelle worked as a internal consultant with several North American companies including American Airlines, IBM, Nortel Networks and Bell Northern Research. She is the founder of Fulcrum Associates, a Chartered Member of the Human Resource Institute of New Zealand and is a collaborator with several New Zealand Organisational Development service providers including Brightstar
