Suhail Sequeira (Exec. MBA, NZLF, FCILT) is a senior supply chain and logistics leader with over 20 years’ experience across ports, freight forwarding, aviation, and multi-modal transport in New Zealand and Australia. He brings a practical, operations-led perspective shaped by leading and coordinating complex supply chains in challenging environments.
Suhail is Head of Customer Strategy – Multi-Cargo, Marine & Cruise at Port of Auckland, working closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transport operators, industry bodies, and government agencies. His career spans end-to-end international and domestic supply chains, including disaster response readiness with a focus on logistics planning, operational resilience, and cross-sector collaboration.
A Ministerial appointee to the Transport Industry Skills Board and President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) New Zealand, Suhail works to strengthen workforce capability and preparedness across the transport and logistics sector.
On this panel, Suhail brings a supply chain lens to bridging the “Recovery Gap”, emphasising realistic scenario modelling, business continuity planning, and the critical role of logistics in enabling post-catastrophe recovery and rebuild.
